In response to a query from the organisers of the Film Festival, I confirm that the relationship between cinema and coaching is indeed positive and highly recommendable.
Watching films, such as Twelve men without mercy, can provoke what in coaching we call a change of observer. In other words, it can be the spark that leads the viewer to a new way of understanding reality, of looking at others or of feeling.

Film allows the viewer to question his or her beliefs
Through films we discover that people can change their behaviour and that, in many cases, they don't do things wrong on purpose, but that they are limited by the way they see the world. And that this can also happen to us.
Through film we discover that our perception of reality is not reality, but only a point of view.
It also brings us closer to the coaching vision of learning, as it puts on the big screen individuals who (voluntarily or involuntarily) take mistakes as learning and we see that this brings them closer to the goal.
Film makes it easier for us to accept diversity, different ways of thinking and doing things. In short, cinema broadens our vision and enriches us.
