Supervision is about coaching the coach. Participants will professionalize their coaching activity by supervising their coaching sessions, learning about themselves as coaches, and integrating new tools.

The program facilitates participants to complete PAID SESSIONS with real clients and also cumulative coaching hours towards ICF ACC, PCC, MCC credentials.

Expert PCC and MCC coaches, facilitators, supervisors and mentors from EEC will accompany the learning group, offering feedback to the coach about their specific case. Also, professional coaches coach the participant regarding how they relate to their clients, the clients' goals and themselves.

Who is the target audience?

The coaching supervision programme is intended for professional coaches who have completed an ICF Level 1 or Level 2 coaching certification programme and wish to:

  • Complete paid coaching hours towards obtaining or renewing their ICF ACC, PCC or MCC credentials.
  • Improve their coaching skills by being supervised in their practice, and broaden the range of tools they have available as coaches.

Goals

  • Train the participant to establish contractual relationships.
  • Experience how to introduce the coaching activity to clients and introduce oneself as a professional coach.
  • Incorporate advanced and specific techniques to deal with complex cases.
  • Provide participant with financial compensation from their coaching clients.
  • Allow each participant to practice in the role of observer-supervisor of other colleagues coaches.
  • Comply with the three hours of ICF code of ethics training required for credential renewal.
  • Know the most important keys to the Credential Exam, administered by ICF and required to qualify for ACC, PCC and MCC.

Methodology

Our educational approach is based on the combination of theoretical sessions with ongoing practice and field work to ensure complete training. We consider coaching to be an art that consists of mastering the theory, knowing the technique at a conceptual level, putting what we have learned into practice and operating with the tools that allow us to achieve results.

Each participant is to work with coachees, clients that EEC provides as a result of coaching agreements with several ONGs and non-profit associations. These coaching sessions are paid for, and so coaches may compute them as "paid hours" when applying for their ICF credential.
