Lazarus, training and support for 12 entrepreneurs in Castilla La Mancha

The Caja Rural Castilla La Mancha Foundation is looking for "12 entrepreneurs with innovative ideas" and has launched a project to boost new business ideas.

Lazarus, which is what it's called, is a "platform for the creation and support of innovative companies" lasting three years in total.

The programme consists of two phases, one of training through idea validation using the Lean Startup model. "Participants will validate their ideas in the street and improve them in the classroom," state the Foundation's managers.

In the second phase of support, the entrepreneur will receive advice and coaching for two years. "To enable them to create high-impact projects and to be proud of them," they declare.

The awards

The projects chosen by an advisory committee and that are winners will receive awards valued at €7,000 for the new company created; another will consist of participation in the TR35 Week Encounter Programme, which will take place at MIT. Other awards will promote facilitating investment or capitalisation in the new companies.

The enrolment period ends on 22 May 2014.
