What is your passion?
People, coaching, communication, travel, books and painting.
Why are you in coaching?
Because I believe deeply in the capacity of people to grow, transform themselves and achieve whatever they set their minds to and more!
How did you come to coaching?
More than 20 years ago, I read an article by Jim Selman in a business magazine in which he talked about leadership and culture in organisations. I was so struck by his vision that I thought at the time "if all organisations had this vision of leadership and organisational culture, companies would achieve better results and people would be happier in their jobs". It was then that I decided that at some point in my professional career I would train as a coach, and when I had the opportunity to do so, I didn't hesitate for a second.
Define yourself in one sentence
You deserve what you dream of" by Gustavo Cerati, and I would add "work for it".
What is your favourite book and song and why?
Book
The House of the Spirits" by Isabel Allende
It is a novel that narrates the saga of a powerful family of Latin American landowners. It describes and goes through difficult experiences, marked by an explosive social context, in which the class struggle and the role of women in a patriarchal society are highlighted. It is a marvellous literary work, which opens up spaces for reflection on very deep issues.
Song
¨Zona de promesas¨ by Gustavo Cerati
It's a song that I love because it goes hand in hand with my vision of life. It talks about the challenges we face, about learning from our experiences and moving forward, starting over, reinventing ourselves and working to achieve our dreams.
