The practice of the team coach. How to overcome the most common difficulties
We will explore the context of team coaching and how to establish a clear agreement with the client. From there, we will address some of the most common shadows that can appear in the coach's practice:
- Identification with a part of the system.
- The need to be valued.
- Difficulty tolerating uncertainty, silence or chaos in the system.
- Hidden judgements about equipment.
- The confusion of the role of the coach with other professional profiles.
- The fantasy of "saving" the team.
We will then offer concrete strategies for managing these difficulties. We will discuss:
- The importance of presence.
- The ability to observe the system without getting trapped.
- How to accompany processes without wanting to solve everything.
- The role of the coach's emotionality and its resonance with the system.
- The value of authenticity and limits.
