Escuela Europea de Coaching presents a new essential book for professional coaches: Coaches' training manuala guide written by Silvia Guarnieri (MCC) and Ruth Gavilán (PCC) which offers a purely practical look at each of the key competencies of the coach, established by the International Coaching Federation.

The book, which comes out this May and will be published by the now on saleis an essential practical guide to unravelling the work of the coach: what they do, how they do it and what they do it for.

The result of the authors' extensive experience in accompanying, supervising and mentoring coaches at various stages of their professional careers, the book responds to a palpable need in the sector and its value resides in the provision of concrete guidelines for the effective application of competences in real sessions, going beyond mere theoretical understanding.

Thus, the book gathers the experienced, close, applied and rigorous interpretation of the ICF model that the authors, with more than 20 years of experience as coaches and trainers, enrich with examples, tools and practical cases of their daily work.

A working manual: clear, practical and rigorous

More than a book to be read once, Coaches' training manual was created as a resource for permanent consultation, designed to accompany the coach in the different stages of his or her professional development.

"Sometimes, even with experience, we may feel that we are not moving forward or that something has been lost. This manual is also designed for those moments when we seek to reconnect with the meaning of our practice," the authors emphasise.

As an added value, Coaches' training manual includes actual coaching sessions conducted by MCC coachesThe ICF-approved competencies are analysed from the point of view of the competencies, which allows us to observe their application in real-life situations.

This is the fourth book published by Silvia Guarnieri, author of three other titles, two of which are specifically about coaching awards, in addition to Emociones y vínculosall of which are considered reference works in the field of executive coaching.

For Ruth Gavilán, Coaches' training manual is his first editorial work, the result of years of training experience and direct supervision in professional development processes.
