Team Coaching receives ICF's brand new seal of approval

Escuela Europea de Coaching is the only school in Spain to offer this AATC.

The Escuela Europea de Coaching's International Programme in Team Coaching has just been approved by the ICF as a Advanced Accreditation in Team Coaching (AATC)The ICF wants to ensure the quality and rigour of team coaching training with a new seal of approval.

In particular, the International Coaching Federation (ICF) has recognised the 75 hours of Team Coaching training, i.e. 100% of the programme hours as specific coaching training.

The accreditation, awarded this week and in force since February 9th, confirms the fulfilment of all the requirements set by ICF for the Advanced Team Coaching Accreditations and is the first accreditation of its kind in the world. first and only one awarded by ICF in Spain.

Luis Carchak opens the ACTC accreditation 

In addition to the recognition for the Team Coaching programme, EEC also celebrates the new credential obtained by Luis Carchak, coordinator of the programme, who has just received another of ICF's new credentials, the ACTC (Acredited Certified Team Coach).

Quality, rigour and delivery

The EEC Team Coaching programme not only meets, but in fact, exceeds the requirements. For starters, it offers more than 60 contact hours, a 50% of synchronous ICF Competencies for Team Coaching activities; observed team coaching sessions for each participant and hours of coaching supervision with an ICF Coach Supervisor or Coach Mentor with coaching supervision experience.

In addition, to receive this approval the programme also meets the requirements among the programme's trainers: ICF accreditations as PCC and MCC, Mentor Coaches and Supervisors, in addition to the AACT accreditation received by Luis Carchak.

A value for participants

Thanks to this seal, those coaches participating in the programme who already hold at least one ACC credential and following the ICF procedure will be able to apply for their own ACTC credential after completing this programme.

In terms of skills, the ICF believes that by earning the new seal, coaches participating in the EEC programme "demonstrate the value they offer to teams and organisations through their advanced skills, experience and independently verified knowledge".

More specifically, participants in the ICF European Coaching School AATC will be able to "differentiate team coaching from other team development modalities; manage complex team dynamics and patterns unique to teams; collaborate with diverse stakeholders to establish team coaching arrangements.

EEC Teams students will also know how to "support teams in developing effective communication and collaboration skills; collaborate with teams to develop a sense of common identity and purpose; work collaboratively with teams to support conflict resolution; and promote the autonomy and long-term sustainability of a team".
