Mario Encomendero, EEC Alumni Star of the Month | September 2024

"I realized that practicing coaching, as the craft I believe it is, held great power to achieve the peace I had been seeking in recent years."
After years working in demanding sectors, his own process of self-awareness, marked by a personal crisis, has transformed him into a committed guide for others' growth. Mario Encomendero (EEC Alumni 2022) seeks to create a positive impact in the lives of those around him, promoting self-discovery and personal connection.

In none in particular.
What training/research/experience complements my coaching studies?
I have worked in the tourism sector and in international maritime logistics for over 10 years, during which I experienced high levels of stress, leading to burnout. Following my physical, mental, and emotional collapse, I began my coaching training.
What could you bring to the EEC Alumni community?
I found in personal development literature the gateway to self-awareness. I love reading personal development books, inspirational quotes, and using my voice to narrate them. I could share my experience in literature and writing (I wrote a book about the life of a friend who passed away two years ago).
What question have I missed that you would like to ask and answer?
If you had to write a book, what would it be about? I would love to write a book about my journey of self-awareness, which has allowed me to become the person I am today.
