Mentoring en el Grado Inmobiliario – EEC Consultoría para UPM-Asprima
«La autoestima de nuestros mentees mejora con el autoconocimiento y las habilidades de comunicación y liderazgo»
The success of the UPM-ASPRIMA Real Estate (post)degree Mentoring Programme is based on the clear definition of the mentor's and mentee's roles, which allows them to establish a two-way relationship based on respect and trust. Accompaniment and training by EEC's expert coaches empowers both mentors and mentees to achieve their goals in a structured and effective way.
Víctor Sardá, director of this postgraduate course, describes it as ‘an experience of generous collaboration, where managers dedicate time and energy to support young professionals in their entry into the real estate sector’.
He also highlights how managers, who have a wealth of experience, ‘don't always know how to share it effectively. That's where the EEC comes in to answer the key question: ‘how do we do it?
Thus, the training provided by EEC focuses on transforming managers into mentors, focusing on aspects such as active listening, clear definition of roles, generosity and adaptation, practical resources and tangible results.
The impact of this structured approach has been evident.
- For mentors: Sardá points out that ‘the experience of being a mentor enhances managers, as it allows them to leave a positive mark on someone else's life while strengthening their own communication and leadership skills’.
- For the Mentees: Participants develop key skills such as communication, leadership and time management. In addition, the programme boosts their confidence and self-knowledge, which Sardá describes as ‘a sine qua non for success’.
