What is your passion?
Good film and theatre scripts.
Why are you in coaching?
Because I believe in people, I believe in change and I believe in the spiral of continuous learning.
How did you come to coaching?
For the book Objectivity: an argument to force on others, by Humberto Maturana. It made me think that the belief that one, in the face of a fact, can be objective is a utopia.
As subjects, we have only our own subjectivity and we have to live with it. The claim that we can be objective is only an aspiration or belief that we often use to our advantage to convince others.
Define yourself in one sentence
"What I say of me, I say of you, for what I have, you have, and every atom of my body is yours too", Walt Whitman.
This sentence reminds me that empathy is perhaps one of the most valuable human conditions for me. It is through empathy that we can understand the connection and know that we are meant to cooperate.
