The value of respect in adolescent education

The adolescent needs a new space for intimacy. How to accompany him/her with attention and respect.

Adolescence inaugurates a stage in which intimacy changes its form: the adolescent needs more space, more autonomy and, at the same time, an adult presence that supports without invading. In this activity we will address what it means to educate from the point of view of respect at this vital moment: how to read the signs behind silence, how to set clear limits without breaking the bond and how to encourage conversations that preserve trust and dignity.

Aimed at mothers, fathers, educators, therapists and coaches who work with adolescents, this proposal offers practical keys for accompanying with attention and respect: communication that cares, emotional presence, active listening and agreements that work at home and in the classroom. A space to better understand what they need, reduce tensions and strengthen a relationship based on mutual recognition.
