The first season of «Everything Happens in Conversation»Escuela Europea de Coaching's podcast has been a very simple yet profound experiment: sitting down for a leisurely conversation, really listening and letting the important questions emerge. Episode by episode, we have been creating a space of connection, spontaneity and calm, where coaching meets sport, philosophy, education, art and everyday life.
We talked to Sandra Díaz, executive coach, and Miguel Gómez, The event was organised by the Spanish shot put champion, professional athlete and Spanish shot put champion, on the identity of the athlete beyond the competition, the balance between process and result, and the impact of small gestures as opposed to great achievements. «Coaching and Sport» is an intimate conversation between a mother coach and a young athlete that broadens the view on success, leadership and personal life.

In the third episode, we open up a key question: how adults learn and how we move from the classroom to everyday life. With Isabel Cid-Harguindey, expert in «Educational Innovation» and MCC coach, the focus is on experiential learning, the design of contexts that favour “flow” and the idea that coaching is, in essence, innovation and applied learning: there is no real change if it does not translate into new behaviours.
In renowned philosopher and author José Antonio Marina He shed light with his words on issues such as intelligence, ethics and the mental traps of the 21st century. «Intelligence and Hope», a conversation with Silvia Guarnieri on how beliefs and identity can blind us, on the need for a “mental vaccine” against manipulation and post-truth, and on the role of education and coaching to turn intelligence into talent. As Marina reminds us, «a good conversation is one from which you come out smarter than you went in».
In, «Second seasons» we focus on career transitions: what happens when we stop presenting ourselves just for the job and start asking «who do I want to be? With José Miguel Caras and Beatriz Roca, We address issues such as how to care for an organisation's exit, grief, hope, curiosity, identity and purpose at such times of change.
The Argentinian actor Óscar Martínez shared in «Emotion and Performance» their concerns about what makes us profoundly human. A conversation about cinema, critical thinking, uncertainties, artistic and ethical choices, the mystery of time, love and its idealisations, fanaticism and technological progress. An episode that invites us to think, feel and look at ourselves, beyond labels and characters.
Finally, at the end of the podcast season, the icing on the cake came from the hand of Maria de Mondo, coach and communicator on ego and fear of judgement. «Deciding without Ego» is a conversation to explore what happens when we stop living for «what people will say» and start making decisions based on self-love: how to distinguish the voice of the true self, fears, the role of the body when deciding, learning to prioritise without guilt, and why, when we grow up, some relationships fall apart... and that is also self-love.
Only after all this comes the figures: this first season of Everything Happens in Conversation already exceeds thousands of views. Numbers that, more than an objective, are a confirmation: the usefulness and real need for conversations that calm us down, wake us up and help us to think better.
The story continues: the second season of Everything Happens in Conversation will come into force in February 2026., with new voices, new crossovers of disciplines and the same underlying intention: to continue exploring everything that happens - and everything that becomes serene - when we dare to have a real conversation.
