Escuela Europea de Coaching we have held in Valencia the meeting “Because no AI can replace a good leader”.”, a necessary conversation about the role of leadership in a professional context that is increasingly being shaped by artificial intelligence.
During the session, speakers and coaches Montse Sans and Beatriz Roca focused on an essential idea: although AI is transforming the way we work, the capacities that allow us to sustain teams, generate trust and accompany change with judgement, sensitivity and vision are still profoundly human.
In this context, Montse Sans stressed that the real challenge does not start with technology, but with the quality of conversations within organisations: «If you want to prepare your team for the AI era, don't start with the technology. Start with the conversation you are avoiding».». In the same vein, he recalled that «AI is going to change how we work. But leadership will decide how we live that change».», further stressing that being a coach - or leading with a coach's mentality - has become a competitive advantage.
On its part, Beatriz Roca emphasised one of the most critical competencies for the present and future of organisations: the ability to have courageous conversations with teams. In his words, «Courageous conversations with teams will continue to be the competence of those leaders who are increasingly necessary in any professional environment. It is essential to train in the acquisition of this competence».».
The meeting left a shared conclusion: at a time of technological acceleration, leadership does not lose relevance, but multiplies it. And with it, also grows the need to develop skills such as listening, presence, relational criteria and the ability to accompany conversations that open possibilities, trainable skills in the Certification Program in EXECUTIVE COACHING that can be taken online and in person, also in Valencia...
