The EEC explains in Bilbao what coaching can do for businesses.

16 January 2013

On March 21st, the European School of Coaching will unveil the benefits of coaching for businesses in Bilbao during an event called Coaching Approach, organised through APD.

During the eight-hour working day, the following will be explained:
- that coaching intervenes through conversations (those we have with others and those we have with ourselves, but which also influence our relationship with others).

- How a coach works and what a coaching process consists of (for example, it is explained that it is a finite process, meaning that the duration is agreed upon with the client before starting. It has a beginning and an end).

-What are the tools of coaching, for example, listening, powerful questions, or learning to look to the future to achieve goals.

On this Coaching Approach journey at APD, “the participants lead a dynamic in such a way that they learn and internalise one of the coaching techniques, which consists of knowing how to ask questions, meaning that when they leave they will be able to start putting a bit of coaching into practice from then on,” explains Carmen Mellina, director of the EEC in the Basque Country.
