On Book Day, seven recommendations that have left their mark on us in recent months

23rd April 2026

Book Day at EEC

To mark Book Day, at EEC we're taking a look back at essential reads. We start with gratitude. Thank you to all the authors who gift us those pages and words that find us at just the right moment, that accompany us, bring order to our inner selves, and invite us to see life in a different way.

Today we're highlighting the books and authors we chose to generate conversations for the podcast «Todo sucede conversando» ("Everything Happens While Talking"), who have left a special mark on us:

— Biography of Silence, Pablo d’Ors

— «Vaccine against foolishness», José Antonio Marina

«Other people's opinions are unnecessary,» María De Mondo

— «Goodbye to Useless Suffering», Javier Garcia-Campayo

Age Traps, Vânia de la Fuente

And as a World Book Day gift, a preview and another recommendation:

— «Anatomy of Hope», by Francesc Torralba, Josep Pla Prize 2026.

We couldn't *not* include it today., Spoiler And that’s it: in two weeks’ time, it’ll be available as a podcast on *Todo Sucede Conversando*.

And finally, there is one more book on our list, which since its publication in May of last year, has also been a must-read for us over the past 12 months:

— «Manual de Competencias del Coach,» by Silvia Guarnieri and Ruth Gavilán.

Each of these books has given us something valuable:
More awareness, more pause, more depth, more humanity.

Because reading is also a form of conversation.
Happy Book Day
