The Human Resources Managers Organisation, DCH, has celebrated the third edition of the HR Parliament, to address the future of performance appraisal in the Human Resources field under the suggestive title The death of performance reviews?
In favour of performance evaluation participated Fernando Vargas, Director of Projects and Business Consulting at the European School of Coaching (EEC), who spoke about the need to transform and renew performance appraisal so that instead of being a numerical evaluation, it becomes a tool for development, from evaluating to empowering.
«To improve performance, we need continuous feedback and support, much like when we teach a child to ride a bike,» stated Fernando Vargas, who at EEC collaborates on the design and implementation of projects to boost team performance, using executive coaching and transformational leadership tools.
Also participating in this initiative were Rosa Allegue, Financial Director of Skechers USA Iberia, as President of Parliament; and Luis Enrique Fernández Pallarés, partner at Pérez-Llorca; Tomás Otero, HR Manager Spain & Portugal at Norgine Parliamentary; Lucio Fernández, HR Director at ATRESMEDIA; and Begoña Landázuri, HR Director at Acciona Industrial and Acciona Concessions.
The HR Parliament The DCH is an initiative conceived by EscRHitores and the DCH Editorial and Communication Commission, and driven by Meta4, celebrating its third edition this 2019. You can read a detailed account of the discussions as recorded in her blog Rosa Allegue.
