Esteve tells the future coaches at EEC how coaching integrates into talent development

«We want to train you in coaching, but we also want to train you in the real world». With that idea, the meeting between Guillem Pons, Global Talent Development Manager at ESTEVE, and the students of the first cycle of the Certification in Coaching of EEC.

During the session, Guillem explained how coaching is integrated within the ESTEVE Development Ecosystem and how it connects with People & Organization processes such as performance, continuous feedback, Individual Development Plans and Organizational Review.

A particularly useful look for future coaches who want to understand not only how to accompany a person, but also how their work fits within the logic of an organization.

Among the shared messages, he highlighted the importance of that each professional assumes responsibility for their own development and that managers and collaborators maintain continuous conversations about evolution, strengths and areas for improvement.

He has also shown how coaching, mentoring, on-the-job learning and training They coexist within the same development ecosystem, each with a different purpose and moment.

The students of the first cycle of the certification who attended the workshop especially appreciated the opportunity to learn about a real case from the inside, ask questions, and share their experiences. better understand how an organization thinks when it incorporates coaching into its processes of talent and leadership.

Several highlighted the practical value of listening to real experiences and being able to connect the training to specific company situations.

The session has continued the cycle of meetings between executives and EEC students, an initiative that connects training with the business reality and expands the tools, vision and networking opportunities for our future coaches.

This series of spaces will culminate on November 30 with the fourth intervention by David Prieto Martín of Banco Santander, following those facilitated by Guillem Pons himself of Esteve; Susana Sagitales-Vela, from Bankinter; and Verónica Gamero, from Digital Santander Services.
