The world of work doesn't always acknowledge emotions; we usually try not to show how we're feeling once we cross the office door.
And yet, managing emotions influences our results. Nerves, joy, creativity, enthusiasm, stress, or worry lead us to emotional states that significantly influence our productivity, our commitment, and our performance.
Now, the "emotional" debate arrives at Talent Day, the event organised by Equipos y Talento, which brings together Human Resources professionals from the most important companies in Spain. Escuela Europa de Coaching (EEC), the most prestigious coaching training and services company in Spain, which adopted the slogan ‘Emotional Awareness’ back in 2016, will bring the topic of emotions in business to this stage.
Silvia Guarnieri, founding partner of EEC, will be present on the 25th of May moderating a panel discussion in which Susana Gutiérrez, Talent Acquisition Manager at BBVA, Jaume Gurt, Director of Organisation and People Development at Schibsted Spain, Lourdes Fernández de la Riva, HR Director at Grupo Correos, Rafael González-Palenzuela, HR Director at Mutua Madrileña, and Ignacio Unceta, HR Director at Sener, will participate.
In this space, experts will share experiences from within their respective organisations regarding managing emotions, fostering positive ones, and achieving organisational change.
"Emotions are our allies and the development achieved when we manage to become friends with them is immense, as they help us, for example, to make decisions and accompany us in building what we want to build," assures Silvia Guarnieri in this regard.
The event Talent Day will take place on 25 May at the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid.
