The Escuela Europea de Coaching is committed to a more flexible and digital learning methodology, adapted to the needs of its students. For this reason, in 2019 it has invested in one of the most robust Learning Management Systems (LMS) on the market, Canvas, a platform used by 9 of the 10 most important business schools in the world, such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
The EEC Campus, which has been used since September for the Executive Coaching Certification Programme and which EEC will incorporate into its entire offering (in-person and corporate) throughout 2020, «aims to improve the learning experience for future coaches and business leaders so that their transformation and learning is sustainable over time,» EEC states.
The EEC Campus facilitates the generation of new conversations that multiply learning among peers and with facilitators, as it speeds up communication with tutors and with the individual coach assigned to each student, monitoring the delivery of tasks and collecting feedback through virtual tools such as forums, generating interactive debates and collaborative and enriched learning among all members of the EEC community.
The platform also allows access to documentation for classroom work, additional material, and offers participants the ability to access and work with programme-related documentation from anywhere and at any time. In short, the EEC Campus is a multi-device platform available 24/7.
A virtual campus and change as the constant
The Academic Directorate of EEC has collaborated with the company's technology experts to transfer the essence of the experiential, hands-on, and transformational methodology that characterises EEC training to this online platform and is satisfied with the work carried out.
«We have made an effort to update our materials, to adapt them to the digital environment, and we believe it is working appropriately. As with any process of change and transformation, we continue on a path of constant learning, making improvements based on what we observe and, of course, based on what our students generously tell us,» assures Silvia Guarnieri, co-founder of EEC.
EEC and digitalisation
The launch of this EEC Campus is one of the digital transformation and agile methodology adaptation steps that EEC is undertaking internally and externally with the fundamental aim of achieving excellence and providing greater value to its services. In 2019 it was implemented for the Executive Coaching Certification Programme in Spain and in 2020 it will begin to be used in the edition of this programme in Mexico. Furthermore, throughout next year, EEC will deepen this path of transformation with the renewal and announcement of innovations that will be effective for its clients.
