In an online event that marked the closing of the webinar series celebrating the 20th anniversary of the European Coaching School (EEC), Luis Carchak, renowned MCC coach, author and team expert, presented his talk "What does the coach reflect in his mirror? Our purpose".
The 20-minute webinar took place on Wednesday 20 December and during the session, Carchak used the metaphor of different types of mirrors to explain how coaches can assist their clients in self-reflection and personal development.
Among the mirrors described were the "empty mirror", which offers reflection without judgement, and the "double mirror", which helps to identify the gap between a person's current and desired state. With concepts, the expert not only highlighted the importance of self-awareness in the coaching process, but also the ability of a coach to effectively guide his or her clients towards the realisation of their goals.
The EEC's 20-year window series has been a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences in the field of coaching, with the participation of coaches, expert facilitators and leaders in the field. Luis Carchak's webinar not only brought this series of events to a close, but also left a significant mark on the coaching community, reaffirming the value of critical reflection and self-evaluation in personal and professional growth.
