2019, the springboard year

8 January 2020

2019, that odd year, the last of the decade (numerically speaking), has also proved to be for us at EEC a definitive year and a turning point. 2019 has marked a path of no return for EEC: the start of new commercial, management, digital transformation and branding strategies.

We started 2019 buoyed by our 15th anniversary: in memory, the sweet taste of a year dedicated to reviewing EEC's career since 2003, culminating in a big celebration in November 2018. With that energy, we plunged into the year of change.

Digital transformation

Above all, 2019 has been the year of digital, in which we have shared the following milestones:

  • a new, more functional and up-to-date website
  • a Campus EEC platform, in conjunction with Canvas, the tool used by 9 out of 10 of the most important business schools in the world, which has also led us to renew and update our academic material.
  • nearly 4,000 hours of face-to-face coaching training
  • more than 1,800 hours of online training broadcasts
  • more than 20 free webinars to raise awareness and deepen the discipline of coaching, more than one per month, which have been enjoyed by nearly 1,900 people.

Listening, purpose and inspiration

Leaders who listen and transform'. has been the motto we have had as a banner during the second half of the year and which has driven both our corporate actions and our programmes.

This claim has been explained by the protagonists of EEC in interviews, which you can read online or watch through these briefs videos.

More figures, more passions of 2019

Our passion has been to feel the development in each of the more than 600 people who have taken EEC-designed training, many of whom have also left us their testimonials. In addition, we have collaborated with a grain of sand in the development of the other 1,000 people with whom we have shared face-to-face and online workshops.

In total, we have given nearly 4,000 hours of classroom training and 1,900 hours of live online training and we have organised more than 55 different courses within the area of academic EEC (Certification in Executive Coaching, Team Coaching, Supervision, Specialisation in Adolescents and Families, Mentoring, Mentor Coach... etc).

Another 900 people, including students and alumni, professional coaches trained at EEC and other schools and people interested in the discipline, have actively participated in the activities proposed by EEC Alumni, more than one per month and of high value for the practice of coaching, and most of them recognised with CCE credits.

Finally, in 2019 we have also had the opportunity to launch more than 170 projects of consulting and coaching We have been able to support some 70 organisations, which have counted on us to overcome their challenges, design their leadership styles, transform their cultures and achieve their results, which has allowed us to reach 1,100 professionals through these executive coaching and leadership skills programmes held in the following years. in company.

And for 2020?

The challenge now is to continue to respond to the needs of people and organisations, to continue on the path of excellence, learning from our mistakes, looking at what to let go and what to keep, updating our portfolio and consolidating digitalisation and the changes already underway.

Most immediately, the extension of the EEC Campus -Canvas- service to all academic and consultancy programmes and formats; consolidating the 100% online training offer, which we started in February with 'Coaching, wellness and neuroscience: the biology of the change of observer' and reinforcing face-to-face activity in Latin America.

These are all important developments, and yet they will not be the most striking ones we will see in EEC this 2020: there will be more, and some of them will be particularly crucial and visible, but for the moment... that's as far as we can read.
