«I was amazed that an hour could be so productive»: EEC shows the power of executive coaching

20 January 2017

Over 20 people gathered at the ‘What is coaching’ conference, which the European School of Coaching held at its Madrid facilities last Thursday, January 19th.

The event was chaired by Silvia Guarnieri, founding partner of EEC, who explained the discipline by taking advantage of the participation of people trying coaching for the first time.

These three people shared their experiences as coaching clients, highlighting how "the coach has focused me, clarified things for me, taught me to look from a different perspective" and also sharing their surprise at how "an hour could be so productive".

Silvia Guarnieri, for her part, revealed the way coaches work, the technique of the discipline, such as the fact that "in sessions we don't just listen to words, we also listen to the body and emotion so that through empathy we can enter the client's world and see what he or she sees.".

The expert coach summarised the day as an opportunity to showcase the ‘learning by doing’ methodology, which is the company's hallmark and which EEC employs in all its training activities.
