"A good question has the power to open internal doors".
How did you come to the Escuela Europea de Coaching?
I came recommended by a friend who had already trained at the EEC. At that time, I needed tools to manage my team and also myself. I started Cycle I looking for skills, without imagining the transformation that would follow. At the end of that first cycle, I knew I wanted to continue. Coaching changed my life.
What did the training process mean to you?
It was absolutely transformative. I remember a dynamic where I visualised that I lived in a cage... without a door. I realised that there were no real barriers, only beliefs. I felt a huge liberation. Little by little, that cage disappeared.
How did this transformation influence your professional life?
At first it was difficult. I felt the ground shifting under my feet, because my whole belief system was shaken. I had to learn to trust the process, to let go of demandingness and embrace excellence. This allowed me to make space for a new way of being and working.
How do you define coaching from your experience?
It is a process of accompaniment where the client sets a goal and the coach, through powerful questions, listening and feedback, accompanies him/her to achieve it. It is unblocking, transformative and deeply human.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Get out of the cage. To change my life. Leaving behind an established career, facing the "what will they think?" and my own beliefs that it was too late. This change has been a real act of courage.
And your greatest achievement?
To have dared to make that change. It cost me a lot and, for that reason, it is what I am most proud of. If I have been able to do this, what can I not achieve?
Who have been your allies along the way?
My husband, my friends, my classmates and my coaches. There were times when I didn't believe in myself, but they did. That support was crucial.
Where would you like to see yourself in the future?
I see myself accompanying leaders and teams in companies, especially in the pharmaceutical industry, which I know well. But I also see that people's challenges are similar in all sectors. I would love to never feel like retiring.
What feedback do you receive from those you work with?
The word that is repeated most often is "transformative". In the individual processes and trainings I facilitate, people leave very satisfied. I believe the value is in combining corporate knowledge with coaching skills.
What is your passion and how do you recharge your energy?
My passion is sleeping, I enjoy it very much! And I recharge my batteries by staying with my friends, talking non-stop, laughing. I also like learning, travelling and discovering new things.
What are you training in now?
I am exploring the spiritual dimension. I was struck by the book Biography of silenceby Pablo d'Ors, and I am training in meditation with the Friends of the Desert. I believe that body, mind and soul must be aligned.
What tools are most useful to you in coaching?
I work a lot with metaphors. I also use the linguistic reconstruction of emotion, which is very powerful. And sometimes I even use stories. I once made one up so that a coachee could see herself reflected and it was very useful.
What would you say to someone who is considering training in coaching?
Do it without hesitation. Not only if he wants to be a coach, but for the personal value it brings. Coaching should be taught in schools. It gives us tools to manage emotions, communicate better and make conscious decisions.

Which coaching book do you recommend?
The four agreementsby Don Miguel Ruiz. It is clear, practical and transformative. Also The 7 habits of highly effective people I find it very useful.
What are you reading now?
I am reading Differentby Eloy Moreno. I also have on my bedside table Biography of silencewhich I have already read twice.
What is your song of the moment?
Bronzingby Maluma. It's summer and I felt like something light and fun.
