Ana Sena Ricart | EEC Alumni Protagonist | February 2026

«Success is living in coherence: that what I think, feel and do is aligned, without losing humanity along the way».»
I am a curious, empathetic and growth-oriented person. I am passionate about understanding how people make decisions and how to accompany them to discover new possibilities.
How did you come to coaching in general and to EEC in particular?
I came to coaching looking for a professional reconversion after a break that marked my career. Along the way, I discovered the transformative potential of coaching and felt that I wanted to go further. EEC came to me naturally: through recommendations from several people I trusted and because of its practical and profound approach, which totally connected with me. Also because of the need to find quality training that would give me confidence and support for my clients.
What is your passion?
Creating conversations that generate awareness, movement and well-being. And personally, to learn continuously: from psychology to philosophy to neuroscience.
How do you charge your batteries? What gives you energy?
I am energised by calm spaces, nature, walking without a clock and sharing authentic conversations with people I admire and love.
What takes it away from you? How do you deal with it?
I am drained by environments where haste replaces clarity. I manage this by setting boundaries, asking for what I need and remembering that not everything requires an immediate response.
What news would you like to hear?
“Organisations prioritise wellbeing and awareness as much as results.”
Complete the sentence: Through coaching I learned...
...that change starts with the language we speak to each other and the way we look at the world.
Which of the coaching distinctions do you choose? Why and what for?
I am left with the distinction between facts and interpretations. It allows us to let go of weight, question beliefs and open up spaces for freer and more effective action.
What impact has what you have learned in coaching had on your personal and professional life?
On a personal level, it has given me serenity and the ability to listen. But it has also meant that I have questioned my way of being in the world and my relationships, on a path of self-knowledge that I consider infinite. On a professional level, it has broadened my way of leading, of accompanying teams and of managing difficult conversations with more presence and less judgement.
How and with whom do you currently apply coaching?
I apply it in my professional practice, accompanying professionals and teams, and also in my daily life - with colleagues, friends and family - from a more conscious and generative way of “being”, with presence in my personal relationships.
What would you say to someone considering training in coaching?
To do so without rigid expectations. Coaching offers not only tools, but a different way of looking at life. Transformation starts with oneself.
What has been your greatest achievement?
To have allowed me to completely reinvent myself professionally and to build a path aligned with my values.
What is your biggest challenge?
Learning to prioritise myself without fear or guilt. Understanding that setting boundaries is not a rupture, but an act of respect and love - towards myself and others - has been a profound and very transformative challenge.
What mistake have you learned the most from?
Not setting boundaries in time in some relationships. I learned that taking care of myself also means saying “enough is enough” when something is no longer healthy.
Complete the sentence: I would like to...
...contribute to more people living fully and allowing themselves to make free choices.
Complete the sentence: I never thought that...
...a well-sustained conversation could bring about such profound changes.
What is success for you?
Living in coherence: that what I think, feel and do is aligned, without losing humanity along the way. Success, for me, is synonymous with peace of mind.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I would just like to thank EEC for the human quality that I have found at each stage and the transformation that it has meant for me. Being part of this community is a gift.
What are you reading? What book is on your bedside table?
I am alternating two books by Nazareth Castellanos: The bridge where butterflies live and The science of compassion. Both accompany me because they inspire me to look at the mind and body from a deeper and more conscious perspective.
Which coaching or development book would you recommend?
The Coaching Habit, by Michael Bungay Stanier, for its simplicity and immediate applicability. Y Ontology of Language, by Rafael Echeverría, for its conceptual depth.
What is your song of the moment?
My song of the moment is “Idea 10”, by Gibrán Alcocer. It is a piece that accompanies me with a lot of serenity and that connects very well with the stage I am in.
