Rafael Echeverria

Rafael Echeverría is an influential Chilean sociologist and doctor of philosophy, recognised for developing the Ontology of Language discourse, a concept he coined in a book of the same name published in 1994. Both his theoretical proposal - which is part of a new interpretation of the human phenomenon1 - and his professional career, position him as a promoter and global reference for the discipline of ontological coaching.

In this first series of volumes in which Rafael Echevarría gives us an account of speech acts, this first volume focuses on listening, a subject he has already examined in other books but to which he feels it is essential to return, as he has been introducing new angles of observation.
