Rosa Zappino, coach and EEC practitioner, at the 9th Conference Cycle on Psychology and Coaching of the COP in Madrid

13 February 2019

«What, how, when, how much, for what, and why does a coach do what they do, and how, and why are they different from other professional roles?«, ask the Official College of Psychologists of Madrid, which embraces the discipline of coaching and about which it has organised a new series of conferences by the hand of «professionals, all of them psychologists, who apply the methodology of coaching from different methodological perspectives in their work».

The 9th Cycle of Psychology and Coaching Conferences, organised by the Official College of Psychologists of Madrid and running until May 2019, therefore aims to delve deeply into the discipline of coaching and the role of the coach. Accordingly, the talks will address aspects such as coaching techniques, the value of the methodology for the client, the coaching process, the results, and the factors that influence the success of the process.

Coach supervision and coach mentoring

Rosa Zappino, a psychologist and PCC coach, trainer at the European Coaching School, and an expert in mentoring and supervision for coaches, is one of the event's speakers. She will specifically be delivering the conference Mentoring and Coaching Supervision, which will take place on Wednesday 20 February, from 19:00 to 20:45.

The workshop, eminently practical, will allow participants to distinguish between the two techniques of coaching, mentoring, and supervision, based on a live coaching session that the expert, Rosa Zappino, will use to highlight differences and facilitate learning.

«In this 9th lecture series, we will broaden our perspective, learning how they operate and what the keys to their success are as coaching psychologists employing different methodological approaches and working with various client types,» state the Official College of Psychologists of Madrid, who are organising this series for psychologists and final-year Psychology degree students.
