The collaboration between EEC Consultoría and Fundación Mahou San Miguel (FMSM) focuses on a Mentoring project launched in 2016 and which, since its birth in Madrid, has continued to evolve, grow and generate greater impact.
With words and examples that show the flexibility, adaptability and empathy of the Escuela Europea de Coaching team, María Eugenia Ruiz, coordinator at Fundación Mahou San Miguel, summarised her experiences during the start-up and development over the years of this mentoring project, which involves training the company's professionals in mentoring skills and the promotion and accompaniment of young people at risk of social exclusion.
An impact inside and outside the organisation
The collaboration with EEC has resulted in a double impact, explains María Eugenia Ruiz, since, firstly, it provides training for the Foundation's professionals/volunteers and, secondly, it benefits young people who are preparing to enter the labour market and who receive this additional support in their professional development.
The Mentoring project involves almost 200 professionals from different areas of the company, from marketing to the industrial department, and currently covers multiple locations throughout Spain.
The Mahou San Miguel Foundation expert, who uses the words "inspirational and people-centred" to define Escuela Europea de Coaching, shared memories of special connections and emotional moments experienced throughout the collaboration, from the first mentoring matching sessions to the successful adaptation to online training during the pandemic.
