Escuela de Familia, a series of talks on Adolescence open to the public

APRIL 1, 2024

EEC invites individuals and professionals, parents and mothers and fathers, to explore the mysteries of adolescence in a new series of online conferences under the umbrella of Escuela de Familia.

It is a series of profoundly enlightening online encounters in which to address the complexity of adolescence, a stage marked by intense transformations, turbulent emotions and the challenging path to maturity.

With a focus on "Why is adolescence an awkward time?"These talks aim to provide a deeper understanding and effective strategies for parents and guardians.

The series, led by expert Rosa Barriuso, not only delves into the challenges of adolescence, but also celebrates its potential for growth and self-exploration.

Among the topics proposed are issues on the meaning of adolescence, moving from control to building trust; how parents can prepare themselves to welcome and educate the emerging adult, navigating the "mourning" of the child who was towards the acceptance of the maturing young person and, finally, on the most common emotions at this stage and how to manage inappropriate responses and behaviours.

Each session of Escuela de Familia, a cycle open to all audiences, will be an opportunity to learn, share and reflect in a welcoming and 100% online environment.
