1,200 people a week participate in the free webinars offered by EEC.
We have closed the doors of our homes and at EEC we wanted to open a window to empathy, we have opened a virtual space in the form of a webinar to generate connection and accompaniment in these moments of crisis and to share coaching concepts that help us to manage the confinement, the crisis and the pain we are experiencing.
"In these times, sharing what is happening to us is of vital importance", says Silvia Guarnieri, founding partner of EEC, promoter of the activity together with Eva López-Acevedo. The objective proposed by the EEC is to generate collective learning, to share reflections and listen to the contributions and experiences of the participants.
Free online coaching format
The 'Conversing with' series, open from the first week of confinement, consists of a series of free daily webinars, Monday to Saturday, 30 minutes long and moderated by an EEC coach and facilitator.
"Finding resources to move forward is the best tool to cope with the emotions we may be going through right now", continues Silvia Guarnieri, MCC coach, who opened the cycle with a webinar on the metaphor of the Black Swan and the figure of the Antifragile.
Online audio coaching
The space, which has an audience of approximately 200 people each day, is held six times a week and is free of charge upon registration.
Among the coaching skills that the EEC experts share in these webinars for managing the emotions associated with this crisis are those of listening, fear management and surprise, which can be listened to in audio format on the EEC Blog. Among the pending webinars, which are scheduled until 20 April, are those of Embracing Vulnerability, The Art of Possibility, The Hidden Treasure: Anchoring Values or Sadness: When Everything Collapses.
"This cycle oxygenates our human mind".
The comments of the participants, around 1,200 each week, about the daily opportunity to connect beyond the tokens of appreciation for the specific lecture stand out. "This cycle oxygenates our human mind. "Having that window makes me connect with the excitement I had in the EEC classes. For me the work is priceless, in addition to what you learn, it is half an hour of happiness", says one of the participants.
Others commented "It is a luxury and a pleasure to be able to listen to you every day because it makes us connect with our daily lives from another perspective of who we are in this situation", and "I wanted to congratulate you on this initiative, you are a space for evasion and learning that is very necessary these days".
