7 steps from dream to vision

12 May 2016

In coaching, vision is a dream achieved, attainable. It is an exciting objective that moves us to do everything possible to achieve it. Whereas a dream remains in that dimension of something that yes, we would like to have, but that in reality does not commit us to the point of making an effort to make it come true.

There are seven actions and steps you can take to create a vision:

1. Dream big: Go beyond the barrier of what is reasonable to imagine what is possible. Aim high. Think about what you want to be, do and have. Think about it again and again, until it becomes very clear. When you have that clear, bright image in your mind, hold it firmly.

2. Write it down and rectify it in positive language: feel the strength, musicality and harmony in her words, so that it resonates within you and keeps you focused and in tune with her.

3. Ask yourself what makes sense to youWhat is the purpose of the dream. The reason to exist and what benefit and what cost it has for you.

4. Share it: start talking about it with determination and from the certainty that it is already being created. Empower your voice. Affirm to others what you are, what you do and what you have from that clear and forceful image of your vision.

5. Observe and analyse every thought, word and action that is not in harmony with that dream, and drive it away from you.

6. Take the first step, build a plan: Act and be grateful for each circumstance that comes into your life, these are neither good nor bad, they are just circumstances that hold a learning experience for you, to continue creating your vision. All circumstances are transitory, nothing remains static, whether they change and you learn from them, that only depends on you.

7. Trust in you, Faith moves mountains, it means believing in what we do not see, it keeps us safe, and in the certainty that what we want is already happening moment by moment, that is why living in the here and now is the best choice you can make to make your dream come true.
