20 years of EEC Italy

With pride and emotion, EEC Italy celebrates in May 2025, two decades of driving executive coaching and transformational leadership in Italy. Since its foundation in 2005, the Italian branch of the European School of Coaching is today a national and international reference in the training of professional coaches and the development of organisational talent.

"I felt that Italy was ready for a serious, rigorous, human approach to coaching", recalls Raquel Guarnieri, managing partner of EEC Italy together with Laura Averone, and MCC certified coach. "The alliance with EEC Spain allowed us to build a solid bridge between cultures, with a common vision of the transforming power of language, emotions and the body".

In the words of Eva López-Acevedo, founding partner of EEC, "what was born as an adventure of shared vision full of enthusiasm, has become a solid and successful reality. To see this sister company grow, to feel how it has touched so many lives, is for Silvia [Guarnieri] and for me an immense privilege and pride. But the most valuable thing is not only in what has been built, but in the people who have made it possible.

A special day for the 20th anniversary of EEC Italia

On the occasion of the anniversary, EEC Italy has convened the 1st Conferenza Italiana di Coaching Ontologico in Turin, with several presentations, including the one given in person by Silvia Guarnieri, founding partner of EEC worldwide, entitled 'The emotional challenges of hypersensitivity'.

Two decades of formative and organisational impact

Throughout these 20 years of EEC Italy, the subsidiary has certified more than 400 professional coaches under the standards of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and has accompanied more than 1,200 peopleincluding leaders, teams and organisations in transformation processes.

"Our strength lies in rigour, presence and coherence. We don't just offer tools, but experiences of real transformation," says Raquel Guarnieri. "The ontological-transformational approach is not just another method: it is a way of looking at and living life.

With a team of more than 20 ICF certified coaches -including 7 MCCs and about 15 PCCs- EEC Italia combines technical excellence with a profound humanistic vocation.

EEC Italy, looking to the future

Looking to the future, EEC Italia intends to continue to be a living space for transformation, "We want to continue to expand professional coaching in organisations and to accompany leaders and teams in the challenges of a changing world. And above all, never lose the soul of what we are: a community that converses, learns and transforms", continues Raquel Guarnieri from Turin.
