ESCUELA EUROPEA DE COACHING (hereinafter, “EEC”) informs users of this website about the processing of their personal data through it.

EEC is committed to complying with the applicable data protection legislation, especially Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, and Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce.

Furthermore, EEC is committed to treating the personal data of its users in a fair, lawful, and transparent manner, which will be collected for the purposes explicitly determined below, without being processed in a manner incompatible with these purposes. In addition, the data collected from each user will be treated confidentially and must be adequate, relevant, and not excessive in relation to the corresponding purposes for each case, with a duty to update them when necessary.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA SUBJECT TO PROCESSING

EEC will collect and process the identifying, contact, work, and banking data provided by users through the contact, consultation, and communication forms, as well as the registration forms for the various activities that EEC offers.

PURPOSES AND LEGITIMATION OF THE PROCESSING

The personal data collected through the EEC website will be processed for the purposes indicated below:

To ensure the functioning of the website, based on EEC's legitimate interest, as well as other personal data collected through other types of cookies, based on the consent given with their acceptance. Regarding this processing, you can obtain more information in our Cookies Policy. To manage your request for contact or information, through the various web forms enabled for this purpose, based on the consent given by sending us said form. To send our newsletter and news related to EEC to those who have requested it, based on the consent given through the corresponding subscription form. To process your registration in our courses and projects, based on the need to process your data for the execution of the contractual relationship. To send you the corresponding communications, in case you have subscribed to our Whatsapp distribution list. To manage your participation in our blog, based on the consent given through the corresponding form.

The personal data collected will only be processed according to the purposes expressed above and based on the indicated legitimacy bases.

In any case, the performance of individualized automated decisions or the creation of profiles is not planned.

 

DATA RETENTION

EEC will only store users' personal data to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected and, subsequently, for the following periods to attend to possible claims:

  • Information collected through contact or information request forms: 1 year.
  • Information collected for the sending of news or communications: 1 year, once the consent given has been withdrawn.
  • Information collected to participate in the EEC blog will be kept for 2 years.
  • Information collected for registration and participation in EEC courses or activities will be kept for 5 years.

After these periods have elapsed, personal data will be duly deleted.

 

RECIPIENTS OF COMMUNICATIONS OR INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Personal data processed by EEC through this website will only be communicated to third parties to the extent that such communication is necessary or mandatory, in accordance with current legislation.

In the case of participating in a certified program, your personal data may also be communicated to the International Coach Federation (ICF), in order to review the quality of the corresponding certification.

Likewise, international data transfers to other EEC entities located in Latin America are planned in order to carry out commercial monitoring.

In addition, personal data related to the sending of news and updates are transferred internationally due to our collaboration with providers located in the United States, adhering to the Privacy Shield.

Regarding third-party cookies, the information collected may be subject to international data transfers, as indicated in our Cookie Policy.

In cases where it is necessary to carry out an international data transfer, EEC undertakes to comply with and establish the technical and organizational measures necessary to maintain the required level of security, depending on the nature of the personal data processed and the circumstances of the processing. In any case, every effort will be made to ensure, as far as possible and always according to the state of the art, that their alteration, loss, treatment, or unauthorized access is prevented, without prejudice to the obligations arising from current data protection regulations.

 

DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS OF WEB USERS

Users of the EEC website may exercise the rights recognized by data protection regulations at any time:

  • Right of Access: allows the user to know what information is held, where it was obtained from, to whom it has been provided, and for what purposes it has been processed.
  • Right of Rectification: allows the user to rectify any incorrect or outdated data.
  • Right of Deletion: allows the user to request that their data be stopped being processed.
  • Right of Limitation: allows the user to restrict the processing of their data, but in such a way that they are retained for some later purpose (e.g. a judicial claim).
  • Right of Portability: allows the user to obtain a copy of their data in electronic form and, in certain circumstances, request that it be communicated to another service provider.
  • Right of Objection: allows the user to object to EEC's legitimate interest and request that the processing of their data cease.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent, at any time, regarding the processing of their personal data, without this affecting its lawfulness.

The user may exercise the aforementioned rights, in accordance with the terms and conditions provided by current legislation, by contacting the email address: protecciondedatos@escuelacoaching.com, attaching a copy of their ID or other document proving their identity and indicating which right they wish to exercise.

We will respond to your requests as soon as possible and, in any case, within one month from the receipt of your request. This period may be extended by two more months if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. EEC will inform the interested party of the extension within the first month from the request.

It is informed that, if the user does not obtain a satisfactory response in the exercise of their rights, they may contact the EEC Data Protection Officer at any time, as well as file a claim with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, through its website, www.aepd.es.

 

SECURITY MEASURES

EEC has adopted appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security that is adequate for the data it processes. EEC has also implemented additional technical means and measures within its reach to prevent unauthorized alteration, loss, processing or access to data.

 

MODIFICATION OF THE PRIVACY POLICY

EEC reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy, provided that it complies with current Spanish legislation and notifies the interested parties in advance, either by publishing the changes in the application or through any other means of communication or dissemination deemed appropriate.
