That conversational skills are present in leaders throughout the organisation, beyond Talent and People. With this idea in mind, Ver\u00f3nica Gamero, Business Development Manager at Creative & WebServices within SDS (Santander Digital Services) at Banco Santander, this week led a meeting with students from the European School of Coaching's Coaching Certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the future coaches of EEC, Ver\u00f3nica Gamero has shared her experience applying coaching in contexts of leadership, change management, and team development within large organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your intervention has allowed the students to get first-hand knowledge How a corporate professional has incorporated this discipline to support transformation processes<\/strong>, strengthen confidence and generate new forms of leadership. During the session, she explained that she came to coaching driven by a Strategic change management challenge in 12 countries<\/strong> and that this experience transformed their way of supporting leaders and teams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abI learned that this wasn't about managing, but about letting go,\u00bb he pointed out, summarising the shift in perspective that allowed him to move from control and influence to a practice based on listening, trust, and people's potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For EEC students, Ver\u00f3nica Gamero also demonstrated how she has continued to apply coaching in environments of constant transformation, characterised by innovation, service evolution, and the impact of artificial intelligence. In this context, she highlighted the value of designing leadership support programmes that strengthen confidence, align objectives, and foster high-performing teams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another of the powerful ideas it has conveyed to the students has been the need to extend these competencies throughout the organisation:<\/strong> \u00abLet's bring the mastery of powerful conversations, open-ended questions, or empathetic listening to all leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attendees\u00ab feedback reflected the impact of the session, with comments such as \u00bbI loved the session,\u00ab \u00bbit was very enriching,\u00ab \u00bbit is very valuable to hear real experiences and success stories to be able to be practical.\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HR and networking: a living cycle for students<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This meeting has been framed within the cycle of talks with managers and networking sessions between HR managers and EEC students that the school has promoted to strengthen the connection between training and business reality. This series of meetings has started with the participation of Susana Sagi-Vela of Bankinter, <\/a> and will continue after the summer with new sessions aimed at future coaches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
