This leader-coach assists in exploring, defining and optimising their processes and ways of operating. His or her objective is to identify what limits development and then to set in motion a transformation to optimise the way the team coordinates actions and achieves results. Among the skills of the team leader-coach is that of not abandoning his or her position: helping collective reflection without getting involved in the fabric of relationships, without taking control.

«It is the team that directs its own learning, maintaining control of its objectives, methods and way of operating at all times».», as it says Luis Carchak, Senior Coach at EEC and Master Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation. The coach helps strategic reflection by training the fluency of dialogue. Their presence at all times simulates that of a mirror. Therefore, the size of a team's output depends on the size of its requests and offers.

In the words of Luis Carchak, 'if an organisation makes small requests and small offers, they will have small promises and the result will most likely be a mediocre organisation. In contrast, great leaders make big asks and offers and, in addition, take on challenging challenges.

In the Steering Committees

This is why it is always interesting for us at the EEC to coach management committees as well.
