Thus, people directors from LinkedIn Spain, Vodafone, Repsol, ING, among others, shared their experiences.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The European School of Coaching (EEC) sponsored one of the round tables, specifically \"Emotions that Drive Action,\" which featured an exceptional panel, including representatives from BBVA, Grupo Correos, Mutua Madrile\u00f1a, and Sener.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>From a <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/SmzU7HEne6Q \" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video<\/a> from the moderator, Silvia Guarnieri, also a founding partner of EEC, in which she spoke about some emotions, the speakers shared their personal testimonies on how they manage emotions within their organisations.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\"Leaders are those people who create the context for things to happen,\" began Silvia Guarnieri, an expert in leadership and people development, who raised questions such as \"do we design emotions for a specific outcome?\" and \"what do leaders need to learn to gain closeness despite digitalisation?\", which kick-started the debate.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><strong>Emotional experiences in business<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\"I don't see a non-emotional leadership. People only change through emotion,\" assured Susana Guti\u00e9rrez. Susana Guti\u00e9rrez, for whom, in the future, \"people will be very important in generating ideas, the administrative part will be automated.\".<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\"Active listening is the most powerful element for uniting teams,\" said Lourdes Fernande de la Riva, HR Director of Grupo Correos, who also assured that \"good leaders manage emotions well by involving their teams.\" Furthermore, the head of people at Correos received spontaneous applause when she declared that \"emotion management should be a compulsory subject in schools.\".<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Rafael Gonz\u00e1lez Palenzuela, HR Director at Mutua Madrile\u00f1a, opened up and proved himself to be a leader who has \"no qualms about showing his emotions.\" The executive, who claims to seek to \"connect with people,\" recounted a difficult experience in which he had to mask an emotion to carry out his professional duties.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>In the opinion of the HR director for Madrid and international offices at Sener, Ignacio Unceta, \"sometimes, due to upbringing, being emotional is understood as being the same as being weak, and that must change.
