Susana Sagi-Vela, Head of Talent and Training at Bankinter, will open EEC Consultoria's Corporate Talks with a presentation \u00abBankinter's progress strategy requires prepared leaders.\u00bb <\/strong>in which she shared her experience in the field of leadership and coaching, based on an interview conducted by Eva L\u00f3pez-Acevedo, co-founder of the European School of Coaching (EEC).<\/p>\n

The HR and talent directive and expert highlighted the importance of strategic leadership at Bankinter and how The coaching skills programme that the EEC delivers to bank professionals \u00abis helping leaders approach their daily work with new perspectives, skills and tools that they didn't have before.\u00bb.\u00a0<\/strong>The interview provided a platform for exchanging valuable knowledge and insights on leadership and coaching within the business and Human Resources environment.<\/p>\n

In her presentation, Susana Sagi-Vela highlighted how \u00abBankinter seeks leaders who are examples and service providers, demonstrating openness and vision, and who are capable of passing these qualities on and generating future leaders\u00bb. She also detailed her approach to leadership development, analysing the different stages of a leader's career and designing specific programmes for each.<\/p>\n

In particular, the people directive highlighted the positive impact the programmes have had on participants, providing them with tools for their professional and personal development:\u00a0\u00abCoaching has been a gift to our leaders, providing them with tools they didn't have before and enabling them to prepare their conversations more effectively and use new perspectives in their professional and personal development.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Coaching skills and distinction<\/span><\/p>\n

As the rapporteur revealed, The EEC programme at Bankinter has received a high satisfaction rating and an \u00abexcellent\u00bb mark.\u00bb<\/strong>, with an accumulated NPS of 78.2%. In addition to the figures, Susana highlighted \u00abthe excellent feedback received,<\/strong> where the participants mentioned \u00aba turning point in their life, both professionally and personally\u00bb<\/strong>. He also highlighted the value of the programme in preparing for conversations and the capacity for introspection it has provided to the leaders.<\/p>\n

\u00abThe European School of Coaching's coaching skills programme has been very well received by Bankinter leaders and aims to have a multiplier effect. Susana Sagi-Vela also mentioned the programme's additional impact, as participants trained in coaching are acting as internal mentors on other leadership programmes within the bank.<\/p>\n

For the future, in the words of the Talent, Learning & Development Director at Bankinter, the organisation wishes to continue working with the European School of Coaching to expand the coaching culture and leadership style within the organisation <\/strong>Their plans include reaching more people within the bank and continuing to consolidate the project with the quality and experience that the school offers.<\/p>\n

About the speaker:<\/h2>\n

Susana Sagi-Vela, Talent, Learning & Development Director at Bankinter, has a degree in psychology and extensive experience in human resources. She has developed her career with a focus on talent development. She worked at Deloitte for over 15 years, where she specialised in talent attraction, selection, training, and development within the professional services sector. In 2016, she joined Bankinter as the head of the talent and training department and is also part of the people management team at the corporate university.<\/p>\n
